These terms apply to everyone who visits or uses www.swedfintech.com (the “website”). By using the website you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the website.
2. Using the website
You may browse the website, and print or download pages, for your own information and non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- use the website in a way that breaks any law or infringes anyone’s rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or any connected systems, or interfere with its operation or security;
- send spam, malicious code or automated or bulk submissions through our forms;
- systematically copy or scrape content from the website without our written permission.
We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the website at any time without notice, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available or free from errors.
3. Information only
The content of this website is general information about Swed Fintech, our services, our programmes and career opportunities. It is provided in good faith, but we make no representation or warranty that it is complete, accurate or up to date, and it may change without notice.
Descriptions of internships, thesis placements, the Micro Lab and other programmes are not offers of employment or placement. Any engagement is subject to our selection process and a separate written agreement.
4. No investment advice or offer
Nothing on this website is investment, financial, legal or tax advice, a recommendation, or an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument or to use any investment service. References to research, strategies, models, systems or fund management describe our activities in general terms only and must not be relied on when making an investment decision.
Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of capital. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. You should seek independent professional advice before making any investment decision.
5. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website and its content — including text, design, graphics, video and the “Swed Fintech” name and wordmark — belong to Swed Fintech AB or are used under licence, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. Swed Fintech® is our trademark.
Apart from the personal use allowed in section 2, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission. Some photographs are licensed from third-party image libraries and remain the property of their creators.
6. Applications and messages
When you send us a message, an application or documents through the website or by email, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to share it. Please do not send confidential business information or information belonging to others through our general forms.
We are not obliged to reply to every message or to consider unsolicited proposals, and sending us an idea or proposal does not create any obligation on our part.
7. Links to other websites
The website may link to websites run by others, such as LinkedIn. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link does not mean we endorse the linked website.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swed Fintech is not liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, arising from your use of the website, your inability to use it, or your reliance on its content, including loss of profit, data or business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal data submitted through the website and forms part of how we operate it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. The version published on the website when you use it applies.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the website is to be settled by Swedish courts, with the Stockholm District Court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules or the right to bring proceedings in the country where you live.
